Persuading Audiences in Digital Environments

This assignment asks students to implement the knowledge and skills learned in the course to persuade an audience, through digital media, to engage in meaningful social change. Students are asked to make a clear and evidence-supported argument. Options for forms include video, ePortfolio, social media, or something else they want to pursue. Formative feedback is provided via a three-page project proposal where students make their ‘pitch,’ including the context of what challenge they are addressing, the overview of their argument, a timeline, and how they will protect privacy. The final project, which is evaluated summatively, is submitted with a reflection.
