Moodle is an important platform for delivering content, building community, and sharing information. As such, it is vital that your Moodle site is accessible to all learners.
Thankfully, Moodle has accessibility tools that can help, including:
- An accessibility checker
- A screen reader checker
- Spaces for Alt-Text to improve image accessibility
- Multiple design tools such as headings, checklists, folders, and media repositories to ensure your materials are organized clear.
When you are designing your Moodle site, remember be mindful of accessible design considerations, and double check that your media and documents are accessible!
