Conferencing tools allow us to gather in digital space, share information, and engage one another in dialogue. However, they also present barriers for some students! Whenever possible, you want to be sure that you respect students’ privacy, provide multiple ways to engage in the conferencing session (chat, audio/visual engagement, polls, slides etc), and offer supports like captions and recordings.
