This workshop series has been designed to support faculty with enhancing their skills in creating educational videos. The participants will delve into various aspects of video creation and practical skills. These include storyboard & storytelling, recording, editing, and publishing videos. The intended audience is faculty in their non-teaching semester who can commit 2 hours per week for four weeks to a fun and immersive professional development experience. You will have a completed video(s) that you can use in your courses at the end of the series.

Through engaging in the activities and content of this workshop, you have the opportunity to
1. Identify the types of educational videos you can create
2. Discuss the implications of using video as a medium to communicate with your learners
3. Tell a story in your videos, using effective video creation strategies
4. Record high quality video with proper sound and lighting using recording studio and other tools
5. Edit a video using Camtasia video editor
6. Publish a video and adding engagement points in your video
7. Create an engaging thumbnail hook to your video
8. Add captions to increase engagement
