Description: Are you ready to create your own website but don’t know where to start? This 2-part series is designed for faculty looking to amplify their research impact, enhance student engagement, and showcase their academic portfolio. The intended audience is for both beginners and experienced who want to create compelling WordPress websites and can commit to 2 hours per session for a week. By the end of the workshop, you will have the skills to create and maintain your own website. Sessions will include:  

Part 1: Introduction to WordPress Introduces the basics of WordPress and covers a range of topics including exploring the use-cases, selecting themes, plugins, and distinguishing between pages and posts.  
Part 2: Demonstration This session is a follow-up to Part 1 now that you have the fundamentals. We will walkthrough how to build a WordPress website from A-Z.
