Instructors collect and work with a lot of <\/span>student<\/span> \u201cPersonal Information\u201d and many types of \u201crecords<\/span>\u201d.<\/span>\u202f KPU (and its employees) have legal requirements, as well as other responsibilities, in relation to both.\u202f During this session, we will discuss what Personal Information is and how the information faculty members <\/span>encounter<\/span> in their teaching roles can lead to <\/span>different kinds<\/span> of records. This session will help faculty members understand their legal requirements and <\/span>responsibilities, and<\/span> create good habits that will protect <\/span>pri<\/span>vacy <\/span>and manage records appro<\/span>pri<\/span>ately.
