Some instructors may ask you to join a real-time (synchronous) class session as a part of your online learning. KPU uses the Big Blue Button and Zoom platforms for these sessions.

KPU Students have access to writing support at all stages of the writing process. Whether you are working to understand your assignment instructions, writing your first draft, or completing the editing process, a writing tutor can help you get the skills you need to improve your writing process. You can acccess the following services:
1. Online writing tutoring (via video chat and screen sharing): Book an appointment at tlc.kpu.ca. Watch this video to learn how.
2. Submit an assignment to Write Up. Go to tlc.kpu.ca and click on the red Submit Writing Assignments Button. Complete the form and uplaod your assignment. You will receive feedback from a writing tutor via email, usually within 2 business days.
3. Submit your assignment to WriteAway. The WriteAway service is offered by post-secondary institutions across BC. Submit your assignment for feedback from a writing tutor, usually within 2 business days at writeaway.ca
