Get Started at KPU
Welcome to the online learning journey! Online learning invites you to develop your independent learning skills, to collaborate with others in a digital environment, and to develop a relationship with the instructor who will guide you through your course.
Your Learning Technology
Before you begin your learning journey at KPU, you will want to get started with your KPU technology and communication tools.
Log in to KPU email: Your instructors and KPU student services will communicate to you only via your KPU student email. Log in to your student email here.
Log in to Moodle: You will use a learning platform called Moodle for your courses. This is where you will find your course presentation (syllabus), course materials, and assignments. You may also complete quizzes and submit assignments from within Moodle. Log in to Moodle before each of your classes begins, and several times per week during the semester.
You can find out more about how to use Moodle on the Introduction to Moodle page of this site.
Access Your Office 365 Subscription: All KPU students have access to Office 365. This allows you to download Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Onenote to your computer and/or tablet. Find out how to install Office 365 on your devices.
Using Zoom as a KPU Student:
You may be asked to join synchronous class sessions via Zoom. Even though you may be familiar with Zoom, you will find that it works slightly differently in the KPU class environment. For detailed steps on how to use Zoom as a KPU student visit Zoom Instructions for Students.
