Using Presentation Slides
with the lightboard studio
Preparing a
Lightboard Presentation Slide
You can use the lightboard as is or you can overlay a presentation over the video. Using slides can add helpful content to your lightboard video. Whether it is a diagram, images, or extra animation to help your learners to understand the concept. The simplest is to use a PowerPoint presentation. However, you will likely need to make some adjustments to your existing PowerPoint presentation prior to recording. Below are tips to creating an outstanding lightboard presentation or you could download a blank templated slide.

Leave room
For You
When you are designing slides, it is important to leave room so that you are not drawing over yourself. Ideally, you want to have your content on one side and still have ample room for yourself to stand next to your content comfortably.
Stick to one side, this avoid you from walking side to side while presenting.
Using or Not Using
Presentation Notes
We know how much some people rely on notes. While presenting, there is only one monitor (in the front) to reflect what is being displayed. Your laptop could act as a secondary monitor for your notes.
Alternatively, you could print off notes to be placed right in front of you (if you require notes). But to bring out your authentic self, we suggest practising prior to recording.
